🔥 SURPRISE! Plot Twist: The Engineer is Evolving! 🔥
Remember when I said my time as an engineer was over? Well… I might have been holding back a little secret! 🤫
🎉 Official Announcement 🎉
I'm Now a PhD Student!
at Inria Lille & University of Lille

🦅 Rising from the Ashes
The engineer may be gone, but like a phoenix rising from the ashes 🦅✨, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm back at the INRIA Lille laboratories—but this time, with a brand new mission!
"Every ending is just a new beginning in disguise. The engineer didn't disappear—he evolved."
🏠 Same Home, New Mission
Here's the beautiful part: my new boss is the University of Lille, but my office is still with the incredible Spirals team at Inria. Some things are just too good to leave! 💙
This means I get the best of both worlds:
- The academic rigor and prestige of University of Lille
- The cutting-edge research environment of Inria
- The amazing colleagues I've grown to love at Spirals
- Access to world-class resources and expertise
🚀 What's Coming Next?
Get ready for a new chapter filled with:
Coordination Models
Deep dives into how distributed components communicate and synchronize in complex systems.
Distributed Systems
Exploring the challenges and solutions for systems that span multiple machines and locations.
Self-Adaptation
Building systems that can autonomously adjust to changing conditions—like nature's best survivors!
Cloud Computing
Unleashing the power of scalable, on-demand computing resources for modern applications.
☕ The Real Fuel
And of course, there will be lots of coffee… and maybe a few sleepless nights! ☕🌙
But honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. The excitement of discovery, the thrill of solving hard problems, the joy of contributing to human knowledge—this is what I signed up for.
🙏 Gratitude
A huge thank you to:
- My supervisors for believing in me and offering this opportunity
- The Spirals team for welcoming me back with open arms
- Inria and University of Lille for making this collaboration possible
- Everyone who supported me during my engineering year—your encouragement led me here
🎢 Buckle Up!
The adventure continues, and it promises to be even more thrilling than before!
I'll be documenting this journey right here—the wins, the struggles, the breakthroughs, and yes, the coffee consumption. 😄
If you're curious about self-adaptive systems, cloud computing, or the PhD life in general, stick around. We're going to have some fun!
